A sign of life
Sorry for the silence, I'm alive and well and of course back in Jokkmokk again. I have a lot of things to do, but work takes a little too much time to get the site updated. There are seven unfinished draft entries in the blog, 17 templates to upload to OpenDesigns.org and to my templates page, two new WordPress themes to upload to the Theme Viewer, one new theme created for this site (currently being tested on a local development site), a large set of photos from the party trip to Stockholm to build a gallery from and a set of old TSEC songs that need to be uploaded as well.
And then I haven't mentioned the professional projects I'm working on right now, including building the new site for Tjuvlyssnat.se (to be launched on thursday) and the Sony BMG project. By the way, feel free to visit the official website of Swedish artist Tommy Nilsson, who will compete in the Swedish qualification contest this weekend, hoping to win a ticket to the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Good luck, Tommy!
And on top of all that this is also the big winter market week here in Jokkmokk, where the small town with a population of 4.000 will suddenly have 60.000 guests during a couple of days. Faithful readers may remember the painted jacket from last years event. More about that later, I have promised to post photos from the market both here and on Jokkmokk.biz during the weekend…
Anyway, I'm doing my best to do each thing that needs to be done. I have already uploaded a number of templates to my OpenDesigns.org page, and they are now waiting for approval. I have also built the new design for this site, and got the site upgraded to WordPress 2.1 ("Ella") without any problems. I'll skip the traditional reboot hype and just switch to the new theme once it is ready like Ainslie did a while ago. Unlike him, I will probably release my theme to the public as well - if anyone wants it. I will also release the current design as a free website template if there is interest for it. Let me know if you would want it and you will get it.
What about donations?
Two more things: It is currently not possible to make donations to my PayPal account, as the account is still locked while PayPal once reviews a new set of documents (which will take a few weeks again). In the meantime, if you want to support my work, you can send a donation to my girlfriend Johanna's account (through the PayPal button in the left sidebar of her site) or directly to the address paypal@elven.nu. All donations are used to improve this site and its contents, as always.
With the new design I will introduce a new "Thank you!"-page where I will post the names of people and companies who support my work with donations (and who approves with being listed, of course) and sponsorships. Those who donate $50 or more will get a link to their site as well. And the top donators will be named and linked in a separate section in the sidebar on all pages of this site. I'll explain this later in a future post, but I will start collecting names and links today!
And with the new site design, I will also have a very visible "primary site sponsor" slot for a small graphics banner. I need to buy a new computer, and I'm putting my hope on sponsors to afford it. If you are interested in this sponsor slot, contact me over e-mail or MSN (msn@ my domain) and I'll tell you more.
Thanks for your patience and support, now let's make 2007 a good year!

There is nothing wrong with keeping the theme for yourself. I've kept this design for myself until now. And yes, I'm a terrible person who always post teasers and never deliver any actual material. :) But I'm afraid that there will be no more teasers, just a bunch of simple and useful standards-compliant templates and themes - without any cool or special effects or features. The usual stuff that people would expect from me…

"I'm afraid that there will be no more teasers" - hehe… see you just teased us again :)
As always, I look forward to your new designs.
Just so you know, your designs over at OD will be approved in the coming days.

Hey good to see you are alive and well!
I know I am selfish but I released my last personal theme and want to keep the current one for me, for a while at least :-)
I'm looking forward to seeing those designs, you've been teasing for ever!
