Advertising on andreasviklund.com
A question I get often is "How can I advertise on your site?". There is very little room for ads on my site, all I have is 8 sponsored links on my front page. Those link slots, which are provided by Text-Link-Ads.com, have been full most of the time. But when TLA updated my link price last month, the price got higher and some slots became empty.
In order to answer the question once and for all, I'd like to take this opportunity to post the link to my Text-Link-Ads page. On that page, you can buy advertising space in the form of text links on my front page. The links are currently placed a bit too far down in the sidebar, but when I launch my new design they will be on the top right part of the page where they will be much more visible. The current link price is $225, and it is decided by TLA based on the overall popularity and statistics for this site. My frontpage has a PageRank of 8 and currently 2.400 unique visitors (and over 6.000 pageviews) per day in average.
That is the easy way to do it. If you are looking for some other way of advertising or sponsoring, you are of course very welcome to contact me to talk more about other possibilities. All ideas are welcome, as long as you don't ask me to put a large and flashy animated banner on the site!

$225… for how long? That's somewhat a big number (at least for me).
Gauldong.net got about 1,400 visits / 16,000 pageviews daily (GgAnalytics figure). And yet the AdSense only around $30-40 per month, so I receive a check of about $100 every three-four months. Not bad (when comparing to nothing), but far from your front-page $225 ad ;-)

Andreas, if you're wondering why your price is so high its because you have the page rank of 8. Around the internet money making club, thats amazing. Your links should be well over the 200$ that they are. Especially with the amount of unique visitors you're recieving. I'll be purchasing links soon :)

Does TLA take 50% off the top? I think that's really excessive. Most ad networks are around 35%.

I tried writing to them but got no reply about the increase in the price. Will be adding more pages to TLA. Since I haven't sold all that many ads, lets see how things work out for me.
Somehow though I feel that lower price means lesser advertisers looking at this?
