First ports are out!
The andreas00 template will not be officially released until monday (or possibly tuesday) since I want to add the blog/CMS ports and have the WordPress theme version ready at the time of the release. But if you are brave and you promise to send me feedback and bug reports, you may try out this beta version (Note: Beta link removed, go get the final version from the templates page instead!) of the template. Or if you happen to use MODx CMS, you could take the chance of trying out the first port of the template! More ports will be added as they come in.
Edit: Dean Steventon reports that andreas00 for Etomite is now available in the Etomite forum. You can choose your prefered layout: 1-column, 2-columns or 3-columns - and as usual you can preview live versions of the theme.
Carl Galloway has started working on andreas00 for Serendipity, and he expects his port to be ready in a few days. In the meanwhile, feel free to learn more about blogging with Serendipity.
You can also download andreas00 for Website Baker in a port by Peter Mathyssen. For now it is a basic 2-column port, but more features will be added over time.
Comments can be only posted for 14 days after the post date. If you have comments about an older post such as this one, feel free to send me an e-mail!

Andreas top shelf release mate, The setup for dual, 3 column and no sidebars is fantastic. The simplicity that will be brought to the user level is first rate as always. I can already see how simple the transition will be from 01 to 00 And I'm talking inbeded PHP and the works.
I'll be messing with the beta you so graciously allowed for d/l'ing today. Can't wait for the final release! This one is going to keep you at the top for a long long time.

Adam: I will do the WordPress theme myself. It will be based on wp-andreas01 and released at the same time as the template (tonight or tomorrow).
Tim: Thanks! I have tried to keep it close to andreas01 to make it possible for users to upgrade the design if they want to. That is one of the non-promoted features, so I hope that you are right! =)

I would love to see ports of some of the templates to my new favorite CMS, "CMS Made Simple". I'm new to porting templates, and haven't had much success yet.

I made Andreas00 the new layout of my site after porting it to Website Baker. Just a couple of small things have yet to be changed, like the slogan and the latest news text, but i am very pleased with the look.
