Four letter domains

I have found a usable and very short domain name. It is a four-letter domain that is perfectly possible to pronounce (although it is not any real word), and all the top level domains are free for it. I don't know how common that is, but I have been told that usable domains like that are very valuable. I have been trying to find out what to do with the domain for weeks, but I run too many sites already and I can't start a site just because I have a nice domain name…

So, anyone need it? Post a comment and let me know why you need it, and I'll reveal it to the one person who has the craziest idea (or the best bribe)!

Edit: Brent gave me a crazy idea directly: "Put it up for sale on Sedo". I had promised myself to not get involved with domain sales, but I asked for crazy ideas so I'm giving it a try. If I don't get the $45 dollars I just spent back from these three domains (.com/.net/.org), I will never do domain business again. More details will follow as soon as I've taken care of all details!

No, that one is taken already. All TLDs are available for "my" domain.

Why not put it for sale on Sedo, you could get lucky and make some cash :)

Brent: I have tried to stay away from the domain business for years. And until now I have never sold any domain. But I actually to sign up with Sedo and make the domains available there. It may be insane since I have no idea if anyone will even care about them. But I'm giving it a try. It will be interesting, thanks for the suggestion!

How about a HUUUUUUUUUGE design forum where web designers from all over the internet can gather and discuss standards, designs and recent news.

Maybe a detailed site teaching skilled web designers enough basics for them to port their designs into WP and other CMS templates.

Maybe you could donate it. A lot of non-profit orgs accept domains as donations, and then raffle them off to the highest bidder.

Just a little tip for future reference.

You can get domain names from 1an1.com for $5.99/year. They offer free private registration and their DNS updates are fast. ;-)

BTW… Yes, 4 letter names that can be pronounced are very rare anymore. I've been tinkering in the domain business for a couple years now and it's a tough biz.

I too would recommend Sedo if you ever reconsider getting into domains.
