Just a test
This is just a test to see if I can post entries through my phone. It would be nice for future adventures on the road…
Edit: I'm now back home again, and posting from my phone worked great. It was done the classic way, through the admin user interface and the "post entry" forms, using a Samsung D600 over GPRS. There were no WordPress plugins added to make this feature work, since the phone can read most XHTML webpages. This is good to know since it opens up possibilities to post blog entries from events and travels, but it is still not any ideal solution since GPRS is a pretty slow technology. Mobile blogging can be even easier if I set up a blog e-mail account and send my posts using the e-mail client in the phone. That would allow me to post photos as well, so I will try that some other time.
