Not very functional
I have big plans for this weekend, but I've been completely out of order for more than one week now and the next couple of days are very uncertain so I don't know what will happen…
It all started on November 30th, a thursday, when my dentist Jörg extracted a wisdom tooth that would otherwise have caused trouble in the future. Jörg is a great guy and a really good dentist, so the extraction itself wasn't as scary or painful as I had expected. I was told that it could hurt a little for the next two or three days, and it did. But when the pain had not gone away or even lightened up after five days, I got worried. I had serious problems with eating because I couldn't really open my mouth, and I couldn't sleep at night if I didn't use painkillers. Having read the Wikipedia entry on dental extraction, I knew that there could be complications.
After seven days, I couldn't take it any more. I went back to Jörg, who confirmed that I had a serious inflammation in the jaw. So now I'm on day three of a five-day antibiotics treatment, which makes me feel completely out of sync with the rest of the world. The jaw still hurts and I'm hungry most of the time, but knowing that everything will get better soon helps a bit. I have lost a number of work days because of this, so I have a lot to catch up with. But I am still hoping to give you a couple of surprises before the weekend is over, there are so many exciting things happening right now that I haven't had any chance to do anything with yet!
A little warning though: If parts of the site looks strange or does not work at times, please ignore it for a few days. It is only me playing around with the next version of this site. Now, I'm off to hopefully get a few hours of sleep. At 8:08 in the morning. Out of sync, like I said…

Ouch! and thank goodness for antibiotics.
(i came here from newassignment.net, after noticing that - when open as tabs in Firefox - NA pages are hard to recognize from the text (from page Title) displayed on the tab - any chance you could start the pages' Titles with something like "NA:"? or maybe have the tab display one of those little icons?)
(hope this makes sense…and it _is_ only a minor problem, so if it's a lot of trouble, never mind.)
Here's hoping your jaw is back to normal soon.

Hej Andreas.
Jan.
