Template updates
I have now started my series of updates, and first out were my three newest templates: 1024px, 800px and andreas00. Having both 1024px and 800px online as separate templates was not any good solution, so I have merged them into one single template which keeps the name 1024px. If you download the new version of 1024px (v1.2) you will discover that 800px is included in the package. I have also added the background image that was missing from 800px, so now it matches 1024px perfectly. The new andreas00 template was updated as well, although it was a minor update only. I changed some of the texts and added a link, before I uploaded it to OSWD and OpenWebDesign.
I am really curious to see what people think about andreas00, since it is somewhat different from what I have done before. I have added more details, more styles and I had ports ready before the template was even released (yes, I will release the WP theme soon. Yes, really!). The 00 template gives a whole lot of options for the user. But at the same time, I may have pushed it too hard and added too much stuff in it, which I am sure many people could find annoying. Where 1024px is all about simplicity, andreas00 is the opposite thing. It is all about details. We'll see…
I'm brave enough to hope for a somewhat positive response anyway, since both the XHTML/CSS-template and several of the ported themes are used live for various projects already. I'll post a few links later on. If you are running a site using one of the andreas00 ports, feel free to tell me about it and I may post the link to your site here.

andreas00 is a great template.
I am using it at my website in a modified form (More Width, No Images).
I have seen all your other andreasXX templates and used many of them, but this is the best one. I also use the design in my Blog , which used andreas03 before, but was integrated in my website.
Great Work.
[To see it in Action use the German Pages, because the English is only an index page at the moment]
(I created the CMS,Blog and Guestbook myself.)

A little off topic, but I just wanted to say thanks again for your awesome designs. I'm in the process of converting many of them to use the CSS Framework (http://www.contentwithstyle.co.uk/Articles/17/a-css-framework - which basically means the HTML elements are all identified the same b/w themes). I've got andreas01 converted and hope to convert 03, 08 and 09 before too long.

Matt: Yes, I noticed that andreas01 was listed. If you let me know when the others are converted, I'll write a post about it!

I've successfully converted andreas03, andreas08 and andreas09 as well. They're not pixel perfect, but they're pretty darn close. ;-)

The andreas00 template has the IE 3 pixel jog problem. I had to add
/* mac hide \*/
* html #contentwide {height:1%}
/* end hide*/
to solve the problem. The text in the content column that appeared below the height of the left side bar appeared 3 pixels to the left of the rest of the text in the content column.

I think both themes will prove popular, but in the andreas00 template my one criticism would be the unstandard names for columns, and other small details, which might make it more difficult for users to customise. From the response I've got about the Serendipity port of andreas00 I think this could easily become one of your most popular templates. I can't wait to see what you pull out of the hat next.
