No work tonight
I was planning to do a lot of updates and bugfixing today, but there was a sudden change of plans so it will have to wait until tomorrow. Instead of sitting home and writing code, I enjoyed a great barbecue dinner (which included wonderful ice cream dessert!) with my girlfriend Johanna, my old friend Micke and his girlfriend Vidde in Skabram outside Jokkmokk. It was really fun, and it was nice to get away from the computer for a few hours. But it made me really tired, so I'm off to bed now. I need all the energy I can get for tomorrow, because I believe that it will be ain exciting day…

Take a look at my "Website Templates" page, and the "andreas09" template. That is the part I have made, and I am pretty sure that it works well in both Firefox and Safari. The andreas09 template is the original design from which Ainslie Johnson built a WordPress theme called "WP-Andreas09", which I have no control over - but which I believe should work well with both Firefox and Safari since it is a popular theme.
The blog at stickandballguy.com uses a customized and modified version of the WP-Andreas09 theme, and when I checked the blog against the W3 validator it returned over 100 errors. None of those errors can be found in my original template, so even though I am listed as the "architect" I am not the person to speak to. But there is an "Email SBG" link in each post, pointing to the address of the webmaster. Try that one!

hi, this is in response to one guy's problem regarding the sliding to the left comments when the andreas01 template is viewed using IE (link: http://andreasviklund.com/blog/webdesign/wp-andreas01-wordpress-theme/#comments). i can't post a comment there anymore so i thought i'd post it here.
i was able to eliminate the issue by editing style.css. look for this line:
.comment{background-color:#f4f4f4;border-left:4px solid #cccccc;color:#606060;margin:0 0 10px;padding:8px 5px 4px 8px;}
i just changed the 3rd value of padding to 0px (so padding: 8px 5px 0px 8px), and the comments do not slide anymore. the drawback to this is that there isny very much clearance between the comment text and the bottom of the comment box. as of now, i'm not sure how to actually fix this. andreas, maybe you have some insights?

No problem. I usually avoid padding if i can because ie6 is stupid and calculates the width wrong.

Portugal: I will not link to single blog entries, but I will try to sort the tempalte links a bit better on a separate page to make it easy to find ported templates for different systems. It will be improved in the next update.
Thanks joon and CoolGoose, I'll fix the CSS in the theme as soon as possible. The problem for me is that I don't have IE6 on my computer so I can't see the IE6 bugs myself. I know that they can show up at any time since I haven't learned all the hacks and tricks. Thanks for the help!
quickie: I had never seen that site before, but it is obviously built from the andreas06 template. A good way of finding out if it is a template-based site or a custom design is to check if the design can be found on my templates page. If it is not there, check the stylesheet to see what the credits say.

Jag försöker sätta in några banners på min blogg. Blogrankers bl.a. Jag har redan Bloggtoppen där, men när jag sätter in Blogrankers mm. efter den så kommer dom ändå inte upp?
Bloggtoppens kod ser ut sådär..
Men de andra ser likadana ut, fast namnen och sånt är ju förståss utbytt, men det funkar iallafall inte..?
