Quick report
Sorry once again for the lack of updates during the last two months. This website is not managed very well right now, so I need to write a short status report to give you an idea of why…
I have been feeling bad for a longer time, usually very tired and lacking all motivation and inspiration. Returning readers of this blog should know that by know, mostly from the lack of updates and broken promises for new releases. Last Thursday I went to the doctor to see if I needed any medicine for an annoying 3-week long cold that made me even more tired, but the standard blood test discovered something else. I suffer from Anemia, and have probably done so for a long time. The test values were not good so I was immediately sent to a hospital where I have stayed a few days while doctors have tried to find the reason for the disease. It will probably take a few more days before they know for sure, and before any kind of treatment can be applied.
I am OK, still walking and in a good mood. But there is no energy, I get tired whatever I try to do. I have accepted that it has been laziness, that I have simply been an extremely lazy and slow person who has had problems with finishing whatever I take on. But it may be a ghost in the machine, something that may be possible to treat to give me my energy and inspiration back. I'm hoping for the best now, and I will do my best to make a nice comeback once I know more about what has been wrong. Thanks for your patience, and for still finding the templates useful. That means a lot, and it is a great reason to get well and start doing good things again…

Good luck Andreas!
I guess it is good to find a reason behind the lack of energy. I think it is becuase humans are not meant to live in such a harsh environment.
It looks like you are going to be on one big diet for a while. No milk, coffee or red wine. To make matters worse, you get to eat liver and beans. As long as you get your energy back, it will be worth it. Having no energy is such a lousy feeling.

if you're anemic you need iron in your multivitamin. I'd also tris taking a B-100 complex and a Ester C-1000 for your imune system. Iron is also plentiful in greens, like broccoli, etc, fresh never frozen. Take the C1000 every hour when sick (with orange juice) take the B100 with breakfast and diner. http://www.vitaminshoppe.com is a good source for these things. I hope you feel better. I appreciate your work.

To those of you that recommend more iron in the diet. There are different reasons why you get Anemia. Lack of iron is one thing. Remember that Anemia is also when red blood cells die or are lost some other way, for instance if you have bleeding lesions of the gastrointestinal tract no amount of iron in the world will help. So this can be more serious than some of you think, anemia is not always so simple as an iron deficiency anemia.
Having said that I do hope you get better soon Andreas. It was a long time since we really did something together and I understand why now.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to respond to each comment soon, but for now I just want to let you know that I've learned a lot about anemia during the last week. I know in detail what I suffer from - and how it can be treated once the reason for the anemia is found. Finding the reason is the main priority now since I only have 55% of the amount of red blood cells that I should have and it is not getting any better over time. I have been told to not add any iron through the food yet, but I will probably need to take iron shots at a later point when the reason for the anemia is found and the treatment starts.
Anyway, I'm not turning this site into a anemia blog. I wrote this post since it may explain why I have felt so incredibly lazy, tired and uninspired for such a long time - not to mention why I have missed the ability to finish projects that I have taken on. I am not in any way a perfect person, and I'm not blaming anemia for being lazy by nature. But if there is even a small chance that I can do much better than I have done during the last couple of years (and especially the last 6-12 months) then it is good news!
I'll do my best to move forward with small steps, just to make sure that I'm moving at all. Thanks again, to all of you! A short comment, no matter how simple it may be, can mean a lot sometimes…

Andreas:
I wish you all the best.. and keep up the excellent work!
I recently came across your site and I'm very fond of your music — particularly the Lagoona stuff; that music really gets the rhythm flowing!
Because of this, "I am requesting permission to use your songs 'Lagoona - The Promised Land' and 'Lagoona - La forto de Porjus' in my entry to the StepMix Song Contest. I would like to create game dance steps for your song, allow it to be posted on the StepMania web site (http://www.stepmania.com), and allow it to be used on the non-profit StepMania Complete CD-ROM (http://www.stepmania.com/wiki/StepMania_Complete_CD-ROM) which raises prize money for the StepMix contest. Full details are available at http://www.stepmania.com/wiki/StepMix_3_Contest."
I hope you will update the license to these songs as well, as a Creative Commons license is permissible for this contest too. ;)
Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you soon!

Greetings from Paraguay, South America! I trust you recover your strength and vitality soon with the diet and treatment. I guess some excercise (brisk walking for maybe 20 minutes to start with) 2 or 3 times a week may be good, but check with doc!!!
I discovered your site while searching for help with my blog that seems to have been FROZEN! I can't publish new material and people's comments are not appearing. It's strange and I continue to try a few things to sort it out + ask for help from blogger.com.
Your templates are great and I hope maybe to use your 02 version which looks excellent with the tab feature.
I have visited Norway and Finland and spent a one night stop-over once in Stockholm! Will check you out if ever we return!!!
Enjoy my photos here http://picasaweb.google.com/tony.somervell when you feel bad!
If you read the Bible, turn to Isaiah 26:3-4 and Psalm 27 for encouragement…

Hi Andreas,
As said by many others before, don't worry about losing/disappointing readers. Truth to be told, there are times when I don't visit weblogs, although I do like yours and some others very much. Follow your doctor's advice and always hold on to the thoughts about the better times that (ultimately) lie ahead of you. Take care…
