The memory is alive

This is an early photo of my parents, Kjell and Yvonne, probably taken in the summer of 1977. My mother passed away in year 2000 at age 43, and for several years after that much of my life was nothing but a big struggle to survive. I grew up in a happy family home, and over a day everything changed into total chaos.
But today both the happiness and the inspiration are back in my life. The painful memories have been replaced by the happy and beautiful memories - both for me and for my father, who has also managed to build a new life. While my website is not intended to be too personal, I'm posting this photo to honor them both and to keep the memory of my mother alive. They lived together for 26 years, and this photo really shows the love they shared…
(and not to forget, my father had the coolest haircut!)

Vaatsaru: Haha, I hear that a lot. I still don't agree, but I guess that you are right. Interestingly, me and my father have exactly the same haircut today. ;)

Man, I'm sorry about your life turning upside down, but I'm glad you're looking on the bright side and feeling better.
The sun will arise,
it will shine on us.
And the rain will not fall.
Not on me, not at all.
Every day and every night.
So safe, so right.
And yeah, the haircut is really old school :)
