A bigger release
After a short delay to add more requested features, andreas00 is now ready for release. As said, it will basically be andreas01 in a new version - but there are a lot of new things added. However, I would like to try a different approach for themes and ports this time, as I am curious to see what would happen if I do it another way. I want to add links to ports of the template - inside the template itself! This does of course mean that the ports need to be built before the template is released, but since more people use the theme versions than the original templates this could be a great help for template users.
I will make the WordPress theme. It is more or less complete already. And I will add all ports from those of you who could build a port of the template today or tomorrow. I will also add other ports that are made in future updates, but for now I'm only trying to get the first release completed. So I hereby want to send an appeal to all theme coders. Contact me, and I'll send you the template. Port it to your favorite system and create a download page for it on your website - and I'll add the link in the final template. As soon as I have 5-6 theme versions linked, I'll release the template. At the same time I will launch the andreas01 theme and my WordPress themes section.
Edit: I have got porting offers for WordPress, Drupal, sNews, Website Baker, Blogger, Etomite, Serendipity, MODx, Movable Type and Textpattern so far. That is truly amazing… I am starting to send out the template now, and as soon as I have got links to the themes sent back to me and added into the template, I will release it (hopefully tomorrow or tuesday)!

I will port to sNews and Drupal, if you wish. I've already done Andreas01 so this should be fairly easy

I can make a Website Baker version. I have made a andreas08 and andreas09 version already for this CMS.

I know that porting to blogger is not a huge deal, but I would like to try this with andreas00. I have already done this with andreas08, my current blogger template (out of the box).

Hi Andreas - If you want to send me the code, I can port it to Etomite.
Regards,
Dean
