Andreas05 WordPress theme
Thilak Raj Rao has ported the andreas05 template into a theme for WordPress. I haven't tested it myself, but it looks simple and useful. And it has support for widgets too, so it is easy to customize. To preview and download the theme, check it out at the theme viewer!
Note: Thilak is looking for someone who could help with preparing the Andreas05 theme for localization. If you can help, post a comment on any of the theme pages.
WP-Andreas01 update
Speaking of WordPress themes, I have fixed some bugs in WP-Andreas01 and I'm planning to release v1.5 of the theme very soon. If anyone have any specific requests or suggestions about WP-Andreas01, send them to me right away and they may end up in the new version. There have been many requests for a custom header image feature, such as on wordpress.com, but once again my very limited PHP skills stop me from doing that. If anyone would want to help out with it, let me know as soon as possible! It would make many users happy…

Hello,
I use your 01 theme for our school Alumni website (Drupal). Here is a wish list:
1. Optimization for 1024 x 768
2. Drop down menus in the header, like http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/examples/menu/topnavfrommarkup.html
3. Logo with the site name
4.switchable between two and three column
Excellent work, simple sophistication!

Hi,
Just a quick update on my last request. I have found a plugin which pretty much does exactly what I am looking for.
Maybe you could just offer the plugin in your new installation files……
Here is the link -

I also thought I would share this little gem plugin for embedding mp3 into your wordpress posts, once again it could be something you could put in the installation files….

Hope this helps

Hi I would like to just start off saying a BIG Thank you for a wonderful theme. I searched and searched for the perfect theme for my site: http://www.thenerdnews.com before finding yours and ever after I found it I kept looking to see if there was a better one and I found myself kept coming back to yours. So I am very grateful for your hard work.
One thing that comes to mind that I would like to see, is when disabling the comment option the post still show a 0 comments under them It would be nice if this was just all together not shown. My reasoning for this is because when starting a new site I'm not going to have alot of traffic for a while and I dont want to have a bunch of post with all 0 comments it looks a bit tacky. I plan to keep them disabled until the site has grown.
Also maybe to have the option to have a different header? Right now I really like the header, but someday creating a branded banner image with the name/logo/tagline on just that image would be nice. Then the option to disable the top white space above the image that gives the site name and tagline. Just an idea.
Other than those two very minor things I cant say anyting at all. I love it keep up the awesome work!

Oh one other small thing I just remembered. I have seen some of the images I used on my site would look better without the border on the images. An option to disable/enable this feature would be nice.

Interesting web site - I'll certainly be reading again.
I thought I would just drop a brief message to say "thanks" for this template. It is a great addition to my karate blog at http://totalkarate.blogspot.com

Hi,
I currently use Andreas01 on a number of blogs that are still in the setting up stage.
I personally would love the opportunity to customise the comments. In your blog the comment made from yourself is a different style to others. That would be a useful feature for me. Also the ability to change the required field for a comment, although I suspect that may be an issue for Wordpress.
I am hoping to use this blog in particular to allow students in my school, and others around the globe communicate. I feel this will be an excellent learning tool for students, and as I have recently redesigned the school site using andreas01, having the blog the same seems natural.

Keep up the good work.
