Edit: I posted an entry here about a port of the andreas08 into a WordPress theme, but I got several strange reports about both the theme and the website that I linked to. Until I can investigate what is wrong, I have removed the entry and the links.

I was contacted by a Matteo Luigi telling me he had ported andreas08. I presume this is the same website.
The website seems fine as far as I can tell in both IE and Firefox and all links appear to work as they should.
It doesn't seem to be doing anything malicious. Unless something has changes since last evening.

I never had to do something with malicious themes or software. I tested again the theme and site today and i didn't find anything suspicious. All work as it should.
Kind Regards

Matteo: Your site worked well when I visited it yesterday before making this post. When I got the above comment, the site didn't work at all. Each page took a minute to load. This was one minute before I went to sleep (an hour after midnight), so I decided to look back today and add the post again if everything looked great. And it works well now. I'll add the post again if I can get a few minutes of spare time before bedtime!

I got a similar affect on my site the other day when my host was having problems. Firefox kept trying to download php files!

Hi There,
First of all I really liked this theme of yours. However its too disappointing to see the elegency of theme got lost when converted to wordpress. I still love your barebone theme and planning to convert it (keeping all elements, features) to wordpress for my use.
If I get success with it, I will be glad to post/share it.
Thanks for great theme!

Kate has revamped the Andreas08 so the footer appears the same in both IE and FF.
Apparently the footer gap wasn't there in the original copy. But I have her copy up on my test101 blog now, with that fix. Also provided here is a download link for it.

P.S. I also had revamped the Andreas08 theme to my liking, spent weeks, hours and had tons of help to get it how it is now.
Tried my best to get it to look the same in IE as in FF. I might need some beta testers for it. Just send an email via the contact page letting me know, if you'd like to beta test it.
And I can send a download link for it. =)

@Twisted: I tried to use your conversion to wordpress of this. If I am not wrong, what you have done is added just wordpress posts below the existing theme. So using your theme, its not possible to be able to have wordpress posts in the top three content areas (around those two boxes). Am I right?
To be honest, I didn't find your theme that usefull at all for above stated reason, so I developed on my own, you may want to have a look at http://www.mbaoptions.com. I would like to get comment from you if I can improve it further.

@DShah, that is correct. The original template which was ported, only had the one lower section, working with the WordPress posts.
We didn't get the upper three content boxes finished at the time, just all of us have been busy lately with other things.. =( So only a "quick basic" port was done there.
I had just checked your's out and it's looking good! =) The only thing I'd suggest is to fix the gap in the footer to be the same in IE and FF though. I had taken screenshots of it before…here they are.

The files in my rar archive above, have the fixes and what not, for that problem. =) Maybe some how you can use the codes from the CSS file and what not, to have your's just perfect in IE and FF. =)
Once ya get that footer issue fixed or if you don't want to, I'll still download a copy of your's because you have all the boxes working with the WordPress call functions for posts. Then reupdate my rar archive then. =)
