Site design as a template
Many visitors are requesting the current design of this site in regular template format, and of course I will make it available not that I abandon the design myself. I am considering to make a WordPress theme version of it as well, since it is also a common request. But the customized theme version that I run on the site right now is not good at all, so I would have to build a new theme from scratch if I would provide a WP-theme version as well…
I haven't decided what to do yet but I will probably release the template first, and if someone makes a good WordPress theme version of it within the first couple of days I can support that version rather than doing a theme version myself. If anyone would want to build an officially supported theme quickly, feel free to contact me to get the template version before the official release! If noone would want to build the theme, I will do it myself in a few days.
But I need a name for the template! Suggestions are very welcome, post a comment or write me an e-mail. Ideas and general feedback about naming templates are of course also welcome, as there will be more releases. It would probably be a bit silly to continue with andreas11 and up. Or would that work? Let me know what you think…
Regarding progress for the new design and new content: The music will go down now, and pages will be removed and reorganized. Sorry for the big mess that my site will be for a while, it will hopefully be worth it in the end.

I think andreas works well for it's a famous template brand… I found your templates available also for other cms then wp, like drupal.
Anyway, considering the template wouldn't include the crown (which I think is your own logo) the two main colors of this theme could suggest a name like "Frozen". They remind ice on a cold an deep water.

I think the template name should be consider after you create it as it will depend on the design… Send a screenshot once ready and we can come up with some ideas..

I think is better will name themes necessarily with Andreas.

I get kind of a "icey" feeling about this template, with the gray combined with the dark blue. How about 'northern lights' or 'aurora borealis' if you want to get fancy :)

This design will definitely become a hit once you publish it.
Make up an unique name, here are just a few suggestions (not unique but site related :))
Kingy (because of the site crown, also it's a rich design), and that's it from me (blank head for ideas.).. or maybe frosty?

I'm a web designer from Wales. I think that the way you've distributed top quality templates (which you could easily charge for) is an inspiration. I have made a couple of free Wordpress templates which I'd like to distribute. Which sites would you recommend to do this?

In my opinion, you could start a new series of templates… if the ones now are andreas1……… the new ones could start with king1, king2 …
It is a great template and if I had more time I would transform it to wp :(.

In my opinion this site is in simply templates. This skin have a good and a bad side.
Advantages:
- fast load
- easy to find information
Disadvantage:
- its really dificult to distinguish beetwen your and other site
- sometimes this colours make me sad
But change is a good decision for me ;)

Hey there,
Right now, I may be in Jokkmok with few friends form Czech Republic, but instead I am sitting at computer cause of illness. So at least I can spare a few moments to read your blog. I am huge fan of your templates from the very beggining of my webdesign career. I learned almost everything that could be learned from it. And I mean it doesnt matter if you name it Andreas 11 or whatever else. Maybe it would be even better for you to name it like that. What are people that dont read your blog and are searching on opendesigns.org or those sites expecting is Andreas 11. So when theyll see that name, at first they will say "Woow!" and download it without asking. I reccomend you to stick to your regular naming. People are everywhere the same and most of them do not like changes. Write something about the template inside index page to tell them its something special, that you have used it yourself for such long time. Those are my 2 cents. Hope to see Jokkmok once, bye.
