These are my free XHTML/CSS website templates. They are free to use for any purpose without any limitations or obligations. I kindly ask you to keep the small credit link (the line that says "Design by Andreas Viklund") since it is a nice way of giving something back to me. But that is only a request, not an obligation. To learn more about the usage rights for these templates, please read the template-related information on my copyright page. If you still have any questions after reading it, you are of course very welcome to contact me.

Template gallery

All templates are made with valid XHTML (strict) and CSS, and they are supposed to be small, easy to work with and of high code quality. The templates does not contain any scripts or CMS-specific code, but with additional coding they can be ported into themes and templates for a lot of different content management systems and blog scripts. I have ported several of these templates into free themes for WordPress, but besite WP-themes I can not provide any CMS-specific ports or modifications.

Updated May 27th, 2008 - The templates are right now being updated to new and improved versions, and in that process I am also creating single template pages for each design. Click the design titles or screenshots to see the new template pages for the updated templates, and feel free to send feedback on the new structure! The idea is to have all templates available for easy downloading here, and those who wants to know more about a template can find a lot of additional information (such as a larger screenshot and various related material) on the single template pages. Please note that this is still a work in progress, I still have a few template pages left to add. Note: New template page advertisement options are available, contact me for more information!

Description: This template is based on a previous design of andreasviklund.com, used in 2005-2006. This template has no images so the file size is minimal, but it is easy to add your own images if you want to. Choose between a 2-column or 3-column layout, or mix freely!

Description: This template gives you the freedom to choose between six different main colors and two different layouts. If you are not happy with the included colors you can easily make your own. The template is 508 OK, WCAG double-A rated and works great in no-CSS mode.

Alternate versions and modifications

Just as my music is often remixed by other artists, my website templates have been "remixed" by other template designers. I am planning to add links to alternate or modified template versions on each template page, but until I have done that you can reach them from this page:
