Web design terminology

Post 211 of 262

ID:s, classes, elements, divs, brackets, attributes, values… What do all the terms really mean? That was one of the reactions I got after posting the series of tutorial posts a few weeks ago. While it is possible to find answers on many different places, it could be a good idea to have a glossary on this site as well. I have started writing it and will publish a first version within a week. In order to get it as good as possible I will be testing a few glossary plugins for WordPress during this weekend. If anyone would want to preview the glossary and at the same time help me test it before launch, let me know.

Hi Andreas,

I happened across your post and am looking to do something similar (a glossary of marketing terms) – did you have any recommendations for glossary plugins?

Great idea I would be more than willing to check it out and test it for you. It’s great to see people still trying to help people that are new to the area of design with a product like that.
